The Twilight Forest is a mod for Minecraft. It adds a whole new realm to the game, similar to the Nether or the End. There are new mobs and new blocks by the dozens. There are trees every where a hundred or more blocks high. Some of the trees can have a base five or more blocks in diameter. They are huge forests. There are even rainbow trees with different color leaves. These trees can even drop saplings and be replanted.
There are also the animals. Ever seen a bird in Minecraft? Ever wanted to see rabbits, dears, rams, and more? The Twilight Forest is teaming with life. There are mobs galore to populate the place. There are even penguins in the glacier biomes. This mod is worth getting just fill out the landscape of Minecraft with new scenery and critters. Sadly, not all of these changes work outside of the Twilight Forest. This may be changed in future updates.
An Explorer’s Dream Come True
While the Twilight Forest may seem peaceful at first, it hides a great deal of danger and secrets. Just beneath the trees the surface is dotted with ruins and abandoned buildings of all kinds. There are the rare trees to hunt down or the boss monsters lurking in fire swamps and abandoned mazes. Some of these areas can be exceptionally dangerous and filled with hundreds of mobs.
